The Course Structure

This portion of the course can be completed at your own pace through eLearning. It covers a wide range of topics, including recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers, and rescuing unresponsive divers.

Rescue Training Exercises

In this part of the course, you’ll learn various rescue exercises, such as self-rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, and rescuing unresponsive divers.

Open Water Rescue Scenarios

Lastly, you’ll put your knowledge and skills to the test through open water scenarios. You’ll apply the knowledge and skills you’ve learned to simulate real-life situations, offering an invaluable experience of how to handle diving emergencies effectively.

Prerequisites for the Course

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, certain prerequisites need to be met. You must be an Adventure Diver who has completed the Underwater Navigation Dive, be a minimum of 12-years old, and have completed the Emergency First Response Primary & Secondary Care within the previous 24 months.
